Who is John Wick  ?

John Wick was formerly an underworld thug, renowned and feared as the criminal underworld 'Baba Yaga". He is ruthless and relentless ' a man of focus, dedication and will". This is the explanation of Viggo's word. Viggo Tarasov is the boss of the Russian city's mafia.

John wick chapter 1

John Wick mourns the death of his wife Helen from an illness. He receives a beagle puppy, a prearranged gift from Helen to comfort him in his grief. A few days later, Wick is attacked at a gas station outside New York City by three Russian gangsters led by Losef. Losef is Viggo's son. They fail to scare Wick into selling his 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1. That night, the three men break into Wick's house, beat him unconscious, kill the puppy, and steal the car. Losef takes Wick's Mustang to a chop shop to remove its identifying information, but the shop owner, Aurelio, recognizes the car and refuses service. Wick visits Aurelio and learns that Yosef is the son of the town's Russian mafia Boss, Viggo Tarasov.

Upon learning of his son's actions, Viggo beats up Losef and punished him for Wick's anger. Viggo reveals that Wick is a former underworld assassin known and feared by the criminal underworld know as 'Baba Yaga'. He is ruthless and relentless a  man of focus, dedication and will". After Wick falls in love with Helen, a civilian, Viggo gives him an "impossible task" to gain his freedom.

Wick digs into his basement and retrieves a box containing the remnants of his former career, including weapons and gold coins used as underworld currency for special services.

 Viggo fails to convince Wick to forgive Losef. And he sends a hit squad to Wick's house, but Wick kills them all. In return, Viggo  meets Wick's mentor, Marcus and offers a $2 million reward , to confirm his willingness to kill his former bodyguard Wick. 

Wick stays in town at the Continental, a hotel that caters only to underworld clientele. Considered a continental neutral zone, the conduct of criminal activities on its grounds is strictly prohibited. The owner, Wick's old friend Winston, warns him that killing Losef will bring him back to the life he fought to escape.

 Nevertheless, he whispers to Wick that Losef is at the Red Circle nightclub. Wick sneaks into the club and finds Losef, but he is stabbed by Viggo's lieutenant Kirill, giving Losef time to escape; Wick retreats to the Continental for treatment. 

Viggo offers to hit woman Mrs. Perkins a double bounty to kill Vic at the Continental. She tries to ambush to a sleeping Vic, but Marcus, observing from an adjacent building, fires a warning shot into Vic's room to warn Vic, who is subduing her. After Vic learning from her about Viggo's secure facility hidden in a church, Harry, another of Vic's hitmen, protects her, but she escapes and kills him.

At the church, Vic destroys Viggo's cache of cash and elaborate blackmail materials. When Viggo arrives to assess the damage, Vic attacks him and his men, but Kirill is captured after hitting Vic with a car. Vic tells Viggo that he lost everything when Helen died, and the puppy gave him hope and a chance not to suffer alone, so he won't stop until Yosef dies. Marcus intervenes again to save Vic, allowing him to kill Kirill and threaten Viggo into revealing his son's whereabouts. Vic attacks the safe house and kills Losef. Marcus meets with Vic and encourages him to return to the normal life he has built. Their meeting is witnessed by Perkins, who reveals Marcus' duplicity to Viggo. Perkins has Marcus tortured to death, before calling Vic to taunt him with the details. Meanwhile, Perkins is executed on Winston's orders for breaking Continental law. Winston calls Vic to inform him that Viggo is preparing to leave town by helicopter.

Vic rushes to New York Harbor, where he fights and mortally wounds Viggo. Resigned to dying from his own injuries Vic watches a video on his phone of Helen telling them to go home. He breaks into a nearby animal clinic, treats his injuries, and adopts a pit bull puppy that is about to be euthanized, before starting to walk home.
