James Cameron, Who is the director of three films that topped the world charts?  Titanic in 1997 , Avatar in 2009 , Avatar; The way of water in 2022. Avenger; Endgame in this chart takes second place.

 James Cameron is Canadian filmmaker . He born 1954 August 16 in Kapuskasing, Ontario Canada. In 1971 his family moved to California. Cameron, before came to film industry he did lot of job including machinist and track driver. 1980 is the one of the important year to Cameron. In 1980 he hired as a production designer and in this year he made his first directorial debut with Piranha 2. the spewing he failed in box office  with  this movie encouraged Cameron to write his own material. 

As a result of this  case in 1984 Cameron make a as a bankable filmmaker with Terminator movie. In this movie actor Arnold Schwarzenegger become a star. what are the movies followed high tech and big budgets picture is Aliens (1986) and The Abyss(1989) and received an Oscar for best visual effects Terminator 2,  Judgment day and True Lies 1994. In 1992 Cameron make another golden step as formed his own production company name by Light storm Entertainment. And the following year he cofounded digital domain a state of the art effect company.

His film success at the box office but many viewers make complained that the all film lacked to heavily on visual effects. But Cameron defied to his critics and focus his next step with Titanic. Cameron did all thing for this film for getting  success. He written, directed and coproduced. Titanic was the one of the most expensive ever made before 2011.

Titanic at the American charts for an unprecedented 15 weeks. Titanic took the top spot and earned over 2.1 billion to become the highest grossing film in the world prior to 2009. 

In 2009 Cameron returned to feature film with Avatar and after 2009 Avatar take the top of the highest grossing movie with earning more than 2.7 billion. He received critical acclaim in 2010. Cameron won Best Director and the film was nominated for Best Picture at the 2010 Golden Globes.  In 2022 he released Avatar; The way of water which he directed and co-wrote. Now Avatar 2 will take the second place in the list of highest grossing movies.
